The A4171 is a northern bypass Stroud, Gloucestershire. The road was originally unclassified but had become part of the B4066 by the mid-1940s and then gained its current number in more recent years.
The road starts at the Caincross Roundabout, to the west of Stroud town centre, where it meets the A419 and [{B4008]]. It heads north along Paganhill Lane to go under the Golden Valley Line and continues to a mini-roundabout where it turns right. The road now heads eastwards along Stratford Road, passing Stroud College and Stratford Park, making the road surprisingly rural for its location. The road ends at a further mini-roundabout on the A46.
