The B6395 is the former route of the A695 through Prudhoe, Northumberland, before this latter road was diverted via the bypass.
Turning off the A695 at the western end of the bypass the road heads east into town along West Road, quickly becoming built-up. It's not long before we reach the town centre. At traffic lights Station Road bears left to return to the bypass, after which we continue ahead along Front Street.
After leaving the shops behind we pass the fire station and a petrol station and then descend Stoneyflat Bank. Houses are intermittent on this section, interspersed with green areas, but it takes a while for us to leave town and regain NSL. We pass a golf course, after which the road crosses the River Derwent and then climbs out of the valley to end at a T-junction back on the A695.
