The B6389 is a short link road in the southern suburbs of Wakefield. It was originally unclassified but presumably gained its number in the mid-1920s.
Starting on the A61 in Sandal the road heads northeast along Agbrigg Road, showing our destination. We soon go under a low railway bridge on the line from London to Leeds; Sandal & Agbrigg station is just to the right. The road then zigzags past a recreation ground then becomes lined with shops as the main road through Agbrigg. The dead-straight road becomes residential again before we reach journey's end at traffic lights on the A638.
