The B6377 is a link road north of Rochdale. The road was originally unclassified but had gained its number by 1932, making it an early example of a recycled number.
The road starts to the west of the town centre at traffic lights on the A680 and heads north along the residential Sheriff Street to a mini-roundabout where it turns left into Fallinge Road. It passes a park and a school and many houses are set back behind high walls. On a sharp left-hand bend the road becomes lined with houses and we pass through the suburb of Shawclough.
Continuing north the road climbs and comes within sight of open fields. Presently there's a right-hand bend and a final descent to a T-junction on the A671.
