The A4205 is a short A-road in west London, running round two sides of Paddington station.
The road starts at traffic lights on the A4206 Bishop's Bridge Road and heads southeastwards along Eastbourne Terrace, with Paddington station behind the buildings to the left. At least that's the official line of the road; Eastbourne Terrace is currently closed as part of the Crossrail works and so all traffic has to leave Bishop's Bridge Road one block further west and use the parallel, and unclassified, Westbourne Terrace. This is a more attractive road than Eastbourne Terrace, being wider and tree-lined.
These two roads both reach the B410 Craven Road at traffic lights. The road TOTSOs left to run along Praed Street, the official line of the A4205. We pass the entrance to the station and cross the unusually named (for the area) London Street. The road then goes past St Mary's Hospital and continues on to traffic lights on the A5 Edgware Road, where the A4205 ends. The road ahead is the west end of the A501 and is very different from the majority of that road.
