The B201 is described in the 1922 Road Lists as London (Loop at Borough).
One of the shortest classified roads in the country at under 100 yards, the B201 started on the A3 Borough High Street and headed southeast along Tabard Street on the north side of St George's church, ending at the next road junction on the B202 (present A2198) Long Lane.
The road no longer exists - it was one-way westbound for a number of years but it has been turned into a pedestrianised walkway and trees have been planted to ensure that it cannot be used by vehicular traffic.
