The former A6011 (now B6521) crossing the River Derwent in Grindleford
In the original 1922 road numbering, A6011 was allocated to Grindleford Bridge - Fox House Inn, placing it in the Derbyshire Peak District.
The road started at a TOTSO on the A622 in Grindleford. It headed northeastwards and soon crossed the River Derwent before climbing out of the valley through Nether Padley. The road soon levelled out as it followed the Burbage Brook upstream. Presently it turned away to the east across the moor. A final bend to the left took the road to its terminus at a T-junction on the A625 a short distance west of the Fox House Inn.
The route was downgraded in the 1960s at the same time as the A622 (which is now the B6001) and is now part of the B6521.
