For the original B5108 from Menai Bridge to Amlwch, also on Anglesey, see B5108 (Menai Bridge - Amlwch).
The B5108 is a short link road on the eastern side of Anglesey. It was originally unclassified but gained its number in 1935.
The road starts within sight of the sea on the A5025 in Benllech and climbs to the west away from the coast. Although it's not long before the road comes into sight of fields, houses continue to line the road and indeed we have to go through Tynygongl before the road becomes truly rural. After a right-hand bend we cross a stream and pass a golf course to reach Brynteg, where the road ends on the B5110.
History
The B5108 originally started on Benllech sea front, maps suggest at the point where the road meets the sea wall, and then head inland along Beach Road to join it's current route. It is not clear when this short section was downgraded - if indeed it ever officially was.
