The B5152 runs between the A56 in the centre of the small market town of Frodsham, Cheshire, and the A49 at Cotebrook, to the north of Tarporley.
En route, it passes through Delamere Forest, and crosses both the A556 and A54 by unsignalised crossroads. Following a short multiplex along the A49 through Cotebrook it used to continue via Eaton to Four Lane Ends, where it met the A51 and the A49 once again, but this extension has now been declassified.
