The B5154 was a short link road in Runcorn, linking the town centre with the docks at Weston Point.
Although the road network in Runcorn has changed significantly in recent years, making the B5154 number redundant, the road is still in existence and following its route is straightforward.
The road started on the A557 at the northern end of Moughland Lane in Higher Runcorn and headed west along Weston Road. After going round the northern edge of Beacon Hill, with its views over the Mersey, the road turned southwards and began to descend slowly. Weston Road then continues south, so the B5154 bore right onto Sandy Lane, descending more quickly. Its route now passes under the current A557. There was a level crossing on a freight line; this no longer exists but its position is still obvious. The road then continued to the end of Sandy Lane, ending at the western end of the road by the Weaver Hotel, with all other roads here unclassified.
