The B5163 is a short link road through the Cheshire village of Hale.
It starts at a set of traffic lights on the B5161 at the northern end of Langham Road, from where it heads east along part of Ashley Road before crossing the Mid Cheshire railway line on the level, immediately south of the platforms of Hale station.
Turning sharp left into Victoria Road straight after the crossing (the road ahead is the B5357), the B5163 runs past the station car park before turning right into Broomfield Lane, at the far end of which it ends at a T-junction with the A538.
