The B1260 is a short B-road near Houghton-le-Spring in Durham. It was originally unclassified but had got its present number by 1932.
The road starts at a roundabout on the B1284 just east of its bridge under the A690. It heads north along the pre-bypass A690 before bearing right at the B1260's original western end. We continue east along Gillas Lane and cross the A182 at traffic lights before ending at a T-junction on the B1404 on the edge of open country.
