This article is about the Gateshead incarnation of the B1295, now B1296.
For the original B1295 in Sunderland, now A1231, see B1295 (Sunderland).
For the original B1295 in Sunderland, now A1231, see B1295 (Sunderland).
The second incarnation of the B1295 number was a short road (in length and duration) to the south of Gateshead.
The road started at the A1/A167 junction at Eighton Lodge and headed north up Long Bank into Wrekenton. It ended here on the B1296.
The road was unclassified for many years but gained its number in the late 1980s. However, the road is now a spur of the B1296.
