The B6237 is a short link road to the north of Accrington town centre.
The road starts at traffic lights on the A680 Whalley Road in the hospital campus and heads east along Queen's Road. After passing the hospital the road becomes residential. Eventually the road bends to the right and goes over the Blackburn to Burnley railway line before ending at traffic lights on the A679 Burnley Road.
