The B6289 was a short link road near the Durham town of Spennymoor.
The road started on the A6074 Grayson Road and headed south along Rock Road and North Close Road, to end on the B6288 to the north of Kirk Merrington.
When the A688 Spennymoor Bypass opened the A6074 through Spennymoor was declassified and the B6289 along with it.
