The B6208 is a short link road to the east of Bolton town centre.
The road starts off on the A579 (former A58) Bury Road before proceeding northwards along Ainsworth Lane through the eastern suburbs of Bolton. The road here is narrow, encased in a 20mph zone and blighted by speed humps. After half a mile, the road hits a give-way junction, where it leaves the 20mph humped zone and TOTSOs to the left. The road now proceeds westwards for a short distance before ending on the A676 at a signalised junction (only recently installed, it was originally a STOP sign).
