The B6250 connects the Lancashire village of Trawden with the rest of the classified road network.
The road starts in the centre of Colne at traffic lights on the A56 and heads east along Keighley Road along the original line of the A6068, eventually reaching a roundabout on the current route of that road.
The B6250 multiplexes east along the A6068 for a few yards before taking the first right turn, at the original northern end of the road. The road heads south along Cotton Tree Lane, bending to run alongside the Colne Water for a short distance before crossing it to continue south along the valley of a tributary.
The road continues into Trawden, running along the full length of Church Street to reach the road junction by the church. The B6250 ends here with the other roads unclassified. Given that the road ahead is signposted as a no-through-road and the road to the right is described as unsuitable for HGVs it is not surprising that this is the end of the classified road.
