This article is about the Class III road numbered C145 maintained by South Lanarkshire Council.

The C145 starts on the B764 at Jackton and heads south east, quickly reaching the edge of East Kilbride's urban area. It remains, however, a largely rural road without property frontages and only occasional connections to the vast housing estates just through the hedge. The route then has a short multiplex with the C144, before leaving the town behind and continuing south east to meet the C131 near Auldhouse. It seems possible that the next extension to East Kilbride may consume this road and see it retained as no more than a green cycle route between housing estates.
