This article is about the Class III road numbered C209 maintained by South Lanarkshire Council.
For other roads numbered C209, see C209.
For other roads numbered C209, see C209.
The C209 is listed as following Kirkstyle, and the only possible road in the council area is Kirkstyle in Biggar. While some old maps show that a very short section of this street, between the A702 and B7016 is unclassified, it is much more commonly depicted as part of one of the main roads - normally the B7016, but some suggest that the A702 formed a loop at this point. Today, the section of Kirkstyle in question is very clearly signed as the B7016, and it is the other arm that is a one-way street, towards the A702. It is possible, therefore, that this is now the C209.
