The C150 starts on the A749 and briefly follows part of the old road line south to Greenleeshill. It then continues south west along Canmuir Road, turning south onto Markethill Road, which leads it into East Kilbride. After passing under Stewartfield Way, without a connection, the road passes through a roundabout, before terminating at the next one on the B783.
