This article is about the Class III road numbered C138 maintained by South Lanarkshire Council.

The C138 is a lengthy route which starts on the A71 at Caldermill and meanders northwards to East Kilbride. After crossing the Calder Water, it follows the valley of the Little Calder upstream and then runs across the hills to find a different Calder Water on the outskirts of East Kilbride. This is then followed downstream, the road following Hurlawcrook Road, to meet Greenhills Road, an important distributor route. This is a slight diversion from the old road, which previously stayed closer to the river to meet the A726 a short distance to the east.
