This article is about the Class III road numbered C14 maintained by South Lanarkshire Council.
For other roads numbered C14, see C14.
For other roads numbered C14, see C14.
The C14 starts on the B7086 at Deadwaters and heads south, before turning south east and climbing steeply up Naron Hill. After a short run across the hilltops, the road dips into the valley of the Logan Water and follows it downstream, before crossing the river at Waterside Bridge. A short distance later, the River Nethan is also crossed. The road then turns sharply and climbs out of the valley as it heads for Coalburn. Before reaching the village, however, there is a lengthy realignment which has removed a couple of sharp bends, but appears to be related either to the forestry or coal mining in the area.
