C2 (Bath and NE Somerset)

The C2 is one of the busier C roads around Bath, forming as it does part of the unofficial outer ring road to the south of the city. It starts at the Odd Down Roundabout on the A367 and heads north west along Frome Road then Rush Hill, curving around the southern fringe of the urban area towards Twerton on Whiteway Road. The road ultimately leads to The Globe on the A4, while it really should be part of the A3062, it can't even manage a single number for the whole route, and as it reaches the city boundary at the Newton Brook, it changes number to become the C492.
