This article is about the current B27 to the west of Douglas.

The B27 is a short route to the west of Douglas. It starts at a T junction on the A5 and heads north along Saddle Road, running between the River Dhoo to the east and the housing estates of Kirby to the west, although there is only a single junction on the route, which leads into the estate. The route winds gently as it heads north through trees, coming to an end at a roundabout on the A6 above Old Braddan Kirk.
History
As originally numbered in the 1920's, the route was given the B33 number. It had been renumbered as the B27 by 1963. This route, however, continued down the hill between the two churches at Braddan to Braddan Bridge. This final section was taken over by the A6 when it was extended to form a sort of ring road around Douglas.
