The B82 is the highest numbered B road on the Isle of Man, and therefore presumably the most recently classified. It follows St Georges Street to the west of Douglas town centre, connecting the A43, Athol Street, with the A45, Circular Road. It starts at a T junction on the one-way Athol Street, and climbs steadily up between tall buildings, many of them modern office blocks. Despite taking its name from St Georges Church to the east, street and church are now separated by buildings. There is only one proper intermediate junction, with Hope Street, and then the route ends at a signalised crossroads next to the Art-Deco inspired Rose House on Circular Road.
