The B1182 was a short road through the Lincolnshire town of Boston. It allowed west - south traffic to avoid West Street and the High Street.
Route
It started on the A52 (originally A154) West Street and ran along Queen Street and Liquorpond Street to end on the A16 High Street.
History
Queen Street and Liquorpond Street were improved, costing £80,383, in conjunction with the opening of Haven Bridge in 1966. A diversion was made from Liquorpond Street to join up to the Haven Bridge approach at a High Street cross roads, but the 1970 OS one inch map still shows B1182 as continuing on it's original course to the east end of Liquorpond Street at the High Street.
More recently, a relief road has been built in Boston town centre to carry A16 and A52 traffic. This has taken over most of the former B1182; the easternmost section is now unclassified and is no longer accessible from the remainder of the road.
