The B4169 is an urban B-road in the Black Country.
The route starts at a roundabout on the A4034 on the edge of Hurst Green and just to the south of the Sandwell town of Blackheath. It goes northeast along Nimmings Road, crossing a roundabout near Rowley Regis station before going past an industrial estate to cross the M5, which is in a cutting at this point. The road then zigzags to reach a set of traffic lights on the dual-carriageway A4123.
Continuing northeast the B4169 goes through Langley Green. It soon meets the B4170 and then crosses the B4182 at the next roundabout. The road then heads north into Rood End before turning east once more to enter Smethwick. There is a left turn along Fenton Street, signposted Birmingham, which takes traffic to the A457 and A4252. However, the B4169 continues ahead along the pre-bypass A457, Smethwick High Street, before ending at a T-junction on the A4030.
