The B6290 was a short link road in the Durham town of Spennymoor.
It started on the B6288 Coulson Street, just to the south of where the A688 roundabout is now. The road then headed north along Weardale Street. It originally ended on the B6291 Works Road but the road was later extended further north along North Road to end on the A6074 Durham Road.
With the construction of the A688 Spennymoor bypass the road network in the area was altered beyond recognition. The B6290 number disappeared and the entire road became part of an extension of the B6288.
