The A168(M) is the possible number for the spur from the A1(M) at Dishforth Interchange (J49) as far as the A168.
The number "A168(M)" is disputed, as it does not appear on any maps, road signs or official documentation. The only evidence supporting its existence is the blue route confirmation sign, which displays "A168" rather than "(A168)". This suggests that this section of motorway is a part of the A168 under motorway restrictions, therefore A168(M). It could simply be a spur of the A1(M), however.
