The Thames Gateway Airport Access Road is a proposed D4M trunk motorway linking from M2 junction 1 at Strood to the proposed Thames Gateway Airport on the Isle of Grain.
Beginning with an online upgrade of the A289 between a rebuilt Park Pale Interchange and just north of the A226 junction, the motorway would head northeast to where the A228 crossing the rail access and then follow the rail access to near Thamesport before skirting the southern terminals and ending near the end of the middle pair of runways, for access to both sets of terminals at the airport.
