The A92(M) is the possible number of the spur from the M90 at junction 2A as far as the mainline of the A92 near Dunfermline.
The number "A92(M)" is disputed, as it does not appear on any maps, road signs or official documentation. The only evidence supporting its existence is the blue route confirmation sign, which displays "A92" rather than "(A92)". This suggests that this section of motorway is a part of the A92 under motorway restrictions, therefore A92(M). It could simply be a spur of the M90, however.
