The Cublington Airport Motorway was a plan to serve Cublington Airport with a motorway.
Beginning at the M16 between Harefield and Northwood, it would have crossed the Colne Valley at Rickmansworth. It would have then met the M25 at Sarratt Interchange and then staying on high ground, passed south of Bovingdon to cross the A416 at Ashley Green, north of Chesham. Descending off the Chiltern hills the same way as the then unbuilt A41 Berkhamsted bypass, it would have met the WCML about a mile south of Tring station and followed the railway to roughly where the Icknield Way crosses it. At Rowsham it would have crossed the A418 and then had a junction at the airport's southern corner. Turning 90 degrees at this junction and heading south, it would have met both the A413 and an Aylesbury northern bypass at Weedon Hill (and again turning 90 degrees at a junction), before ending on the A41 at Quarrendon House - now near Aylesbury Vale Parkway station.
