The A3031 runs over the Albert Bridge in London. It was formerly part of the B304.
The road starts at traffic lights on the A3212 Chelsea Embankment, with the B304 still continuing north. The A3031 heads south past "Weak Bridge" and width restriction signs and starts to cross Albert Bridge immediately. On the far side of the Thames the road skirts Battersea Park to its left whilst its right is built-up.
The road continues south along the traffic-calmed Albert Bridge Road before reaching the other corner of the park at traffic lights on Prince Of Wales Drive, part of a one-way loop on the A3220. What happens to the A3031 here is debatable. Some maps end the road here whilst others continue it ahead along the remainder of Albert Bridge Road, which should by rights be the southbound A3220, to end at traffic lights on the A3205 Battersea Park Road. A third possibility is for the road to bear right into Cambridge Road as the B304 always did to reach the A3220 Battersea Bridge Road on the far side of the one-way loop, although at this point traffic can actually run either north or south.
