A4062 was the designation originally allocated, in the 1922 road numbering scheme to a very short link along Wigan Terrace in Bryncethin, Glamorgan, between the A4061 and the A4065.
Following the 1935 road numbering revision, when such short "stub roads" were generally affiliated to more substantive routes, this one became a branch of the A4065. It was still bearing this number in 1989, but after the route of the main A4065 was shifted westward to follow a new bypass of Bryncethin village, Wigan Terrace was declassified.
