This article is about the original B1392 in south Lincolnshire, now B1192.
For the current B1392 in the north of the county, see B1392.
For the current B1392 in the north of the county, see B1392.
The B1392 came into being in the mid-1920s as the number of the road between the B1192 at Hubbert's Bridge (just to the north of the A154) - the present-day A52) and the A16 at Kirton.
In 1935, it was renumbered as the mainline of the B1192, giving that road a spur and a TOTSO in Hubbert's Bridge.
From Hubbert's Bridge the road headed southeastwards to cross a drain and the A154 before winding to the south into Kirton End, where the B1391 was crossed. A mile or so further on the road reached Kirton, where it ended on the original line of the A16 in the village centre.
