The B1385 is an L-shaped B-road to the north of Lowestoft to serve the village of Corton. The road was originally unclassified but gained its number in the mid-1920s.
The road starts on the A47 to the north of Lowestoft town centre and heads north along the residential Corton Road. This is a wide, straight road, which soon becomes rural as we pass a coastal nature reserve. It's not completely what it seems, however, as to the left is a golf course and then the Pleasurewood Hills theme park.
As we reach the southern edge of Corton the road TOTSOs left. It passes a sports ground and becomes residential for the remainder of the route, although many of the houses are set back behind trees and hedges. It's not long before we return to the A47, ending at a roundabout.
