This article is about the original and extremely short-lived version from the 1920s.
For the current route nearby with this number, see B1353.
For the current route nearby with this number, see B1353.
In the original 1922-23 classification, the route was unclassified
The road appears on the relevant 1924-25 MoT map
By the time of the next edition of the MoT map in 1928-29, the road had been upgraded again
The original version of the B1353 is a route in Suffolk less than two miles away from the current road with that number, but they are clearly separate routes. It is known from a single edition of the OS Ministry of Transport Road Map.
This version was unclassified in the original road lists of 1922, but was rapidly upgraded to Class II by 1924. It was then upgraded again to Class I by 1927, where it then carried the number A1094, the number it carries to this day, whilst the B1353 number was recycled to the nearby route that carries the number today.
