The B1306 is a short link road on the edge of the Durham town of Hebburn. The road was unclassified for many years but got its number around 1994.
The road starts on the A194 at the next roundabout north from the end of the A194(M). A wide central verge suggests that the A194 was planned to be grade-separated here but that has not happened. From here the B1306 heads past the Monkton Business Park, which is split in two by the Newcastle to Sunderland railway line, which we go over. Monkton Business Park is of sabristic interest as it contains the HQ of the VMS company.
After crossing a dismantled railway line the B1306 bears left at a mini-roundabout and becomes built-up. There's then a straight run along Mill Lane to the end of the road at traffic lights on the A185 on the southern edge of Hebburn.
