The B5059 is a short link road in the Derbyshire town of Buxton, avoiding the town centre.
The road starts at traffic lights on the A53 in the western suburb of Burbage. It heads east, parallel to the A53 to begin with but soon the roads diverge. After passing a turn to Poole's Cavern the road crosses the A515 at traffic lights.
Up to this point the housing alongside the B5059 has echoed Buxton's spa-town heritage but after crossing the A515 it quickly becomes more utilitarian. The road then bends to pass under a railway line before ending soon afterwards at a roundabout on the A6.
