The B5020 is a short B-road on the edge of Derby.
It starts on the A52 in Kirk Langley and heads south, past Long Lane (a Roman road - see RM180). It zigzags through the village of Langley Common before reaching the edge of Mickleover. The road TOTSOs right to run through the suburb.
Eventually, close to the old village centre, a roundabout is reached. This is the original southern end of the B5020 where it met the A516. However, that road now bypasses Mickleover and so the B5020 turns left here to run along the pre-bypass road (although turning right is the shorter route to the A516). The road crosses a bridge over the A38 before ending at a roundabout on the current route of the A516.
