The B5036 is a short link road in central Derbyshire.
It starts to the north of Wirksworth town centre on the B5023 (where that road has to TOTSO). It heads north out of town and crosses the preserved Ecclesbourne Valley Railway within sight of the tiny Ravenstor station.
After going under the High Peak Trail near the Black Rocks car park the road meets the B5035 before descending, steeply at times, into Cromford. At the bottom of the hill the B5036 ends on the A5012 where that road has to TOTSO. Just ahead and easily visible is a set of traffic lights on the A6, marking the end of the A5012; before the A-road came into being in 1935 this was the northern end of the B5036.
