The B6166 was a link road in central Yorkshire.
It started on the A59 in the centre of Knaresborough and headed northeast via Ferrensby and Minskip before ending on the A1 Wetherby Road to the south of Boroughbridge town centre.
In the 1960s, following the construction of the A1 Boroughbridge bypass, the B6166 was truncated slightly. In about 1972, the entire of the remaining B6166 was upgraded to Class I status, becoming the A6055. More recently, the upgrading of the A1 to motorway status in the 1990s moved the A1(M)/A6055 junction further south and so the entire original section of the B6166 north of Minskip is now unclassified.
