The B5392 in East Cheshire connects the A535 at Jodrell Bank to the A537 at Broken Cross on the western edge of Macclesfield. The road was originally unclassified but gained its number in the early 1930s.
Starting from a junction some 700 m southeast of the famous Lovell Telescope at Jodrell Bank (which, for all its size, is not that easy to spot in the flat countryside), the route follows a generally easterly course. It passes through the village of Lower Withington and intersects the A34 at a staggered crossroads close to Siddington before reaching the outskirts of Macclesfield. It bears right then TOTSOs left to end at a small roundabout on the A537.
