The A5016 is a short link road, just over a tenth of a mile long, between the A49 and A534 at the tiny hamlet of Ridley, to the west of Nantwich.
Because of its short length, whether or not it is defunct is under question (OS 1:10k mapping and the signs on the ground suggest that it's part of the A534, whereas OS 1:25k mapping suggests that it's still its own road). If it is still active, it is certainly one of the shortest A roads in the UK.
