This article is about the original A5068 in Manchester.

The original A5068 entered Manchester city centre from the south.
The road started on the A56 (now A5014) Chester Road and ran northeastwards along City Road and Albion Street into the city centre, then along Mosley Street to end on the A6 in Piccadilly Gardens.
The road was lost when the A57(M) Mancunian Way was built, which severed City Road. It seems that the section north of Albion Street was renumbered A5103 round this time. Moseley Street has since been declassified.
