The B5267 is a short link road connecting the village of Carleton to the market town of Poulton-le-Fylde in Lancashire.
The route starts at the Four Lane Ends traffic lights on the B5268 in the centre of Carleton, from where it heads south-east along Poulton Road, which becomes Tithebarn Street after some 500 metres as the road enters open country.
We cross a bridge over a dismantled railway curve and then, as we enter Poulton, a second bridge, which carries us over the still operating Blackpool North to Preston line. Immediately after this, all inbound traffic must turn right at a light-controlled junction and we follow Queensway and Blackpool Old Road (the final part of which is one-way) to reach the A588 at the Hardhorn Road / Queen's Square junction in the town centre.
Outbound traffic starts a little further north, leaving the northbound arm of the A588 gyratory system at the Chapel Street / Breck Road / Vicarage Road crossroads to run west along Ball Street (past St Chad's churchyard on the left) and then Tithebarn Street before arriving back at the traffic lights by the railway bridge, where it rejoins the other direction.
