The B5264 is a useful short cut north of the village of Woodplumpton that cuts a corner between the B5411 and the B5269. It is signposted "Broughton" from the Woodplumpton end and "Woodplumpton, Kirkham" from the Broughton end.
The number appeared on signage at the Woodplumpton end in 2009 although some maps are still showing the road as unclassified. The reply to an FOI request indicates that prior to reclassification this road was numbered C346.
