The B5227 was a short link road in the west of Salford.
It started on the A57 Eccles New Road and headed north along Langworthy Road. Originally it ended on the next classified road, the A576 Eccles Old Road, but it was later extended a short distance further to meet the A6 Bolton Road.
The road survived until at least the 1970s but has since been upgraded to Class I status, becoming the A5186.
