This article is about the original B4028 in Oxfordshire.
For the current B4028 in the Forest of Dean, see B4028.
For the current B4028 in the Forest of Dean, see B4028.
The number B4028 was originally allocated to a road heading northeast from the Oxfordshire town of Woodstock. Starting on the A42 (present A44) it left town along Hensington Road before crossing the B4027 and ending on the A423 (present A4260) at Sturdy's Castle.
With the coming of the parallel A4095 in the mid-1920s the days of the B4028 were numbered and the road was declassified when that road was created in the mid-1920s.
