The B4011 is a local cross-country road running along the Buckinghamshire / Oxfordshire boundary.
Route
It starts on the A41 southeast of Bicester and heads southeast through Oakley and Long Crendon to the A418 Thame bypass. Long distance traffic takes the nearby M40 instead.
History
The original route of the B4011 ran through the centre of Thame before continuing on to the A4010 at Princes Risborough. However, this section was upgraded to the A4129 around 1930.
Blackthorn Diversion was opened on 28 November 1988 by Bryn Duggan, County Council Chairman. The route had previously been through the village.
